Overview
The Nieuport 17 was designed by the French as a single-seat fighter biplane in World War I. It was a very maneuverable aircraft and many British and French pilots began their careers with a Nieuport 17.
E-flite's Nieuport 17 Slow Flyer is an electric indoor version of the French biplane fighter. It's the third in a line of E-flite slow flyers and boasts a low weight and a more majestic type of slow flight thanks to the biplane design and reduced wing loading. So you can get to flying faster, the Nieuport 17 comes with many prefinished details, including wood interplane and cabane struts, molded cowling, a simulated dummy motor, and the trim scheme is prepainted and the decals are already applied.

The dummy engine mounts to and rotates with the Park 250 motor to simulate the rotary engine of the original. The molded cowling also provides a great scale appearance.
For added strength for your Nieuport 17, the horizontal stab is reinforced with carbon fiber. The control horn mounts are also reinforced with a clear ABS plastic for added strength.
This WWI slow flyer comes out of the box prepainted and all decals applied from the factory for excellent scale appeal.

Battery and receiver access is easily accomplished through teh opening in the bottom of the fuselage. This esing receiver binding easy as well as battery removal and installation a snap.
The Nieuport 17 Slow Flyer was specifically designed to use E-flite's Park 250 2200Kv outrunner motor, E-flite's 10A Brushless ESC (EFLA1010), GWS 7x3.5 Prop (GWSEP7035) and an E-flite 2S 7.4V 800mAh LiPo battery (EFLB0990) or a Thunder Power 2S 7.4V 730mAh LiPo battery (THP7302SJPL2).
